Way back in the late 90's and into the new millennium, Clifford's award-winning Science and Technology website 21st Century was a smash-hit of the .com boom, attracting over 7 million visitors a year and featured in all of the top UK magazines, including the biggest and brightest of them all, Future Publishing's .net magazine...
"21st Century is an excellent site for keeping informed about new developments and includes everything from cars to robots through to fashion. It's easy to navigate and has plenty of pictures to illustrate the digestible chunks of text and historical profiles. Other features include an impressive selection of useful links to other science and technology sites, some fun old-school style games and a forum for posting questions or philosophical points of view."
Not content to feature Clifford's website for a month or two, 21st Century occupied its top position for more than a year.

More accolades were to follow, and in Winter 2000 21st Century was voted Best site in the Science and Environment category of the Computer Active Web Guide, outperforming Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace, amongst others.
"Well written, easy to read science related stories that make the most of the capabilities of publishing on the internet"
A double-page spread in Practical Internet, an interview with Clifford in Web pages made easy and reviews in many of the internet guides and directories of the time kept the website in its top spot for most of the early noughties.

"21stCentury.co.uk is a great collection of futuristic gadgets, toys, free online games and amazing cars with more fun than you can shake a book of Nostradamus' prophesies at." - Practical Internet magazine.
