In 2020 Clifford was asked to compose and produce the soundtrack to Lawrence: After Arabia, an independently produced British film and sequel to the 1962 blockbuster Lawrence of Arabia starring Peter O'Toole.

Composing 75 minutes of original music for the film, Clifford was joined on the soundtrack by Rick Wakeman, Guy Protheroe, The English Chamber Choir, Chris Thompson, Bruce Woolley and Gryffyn.

In addition to receiving more than 32 awards from 15 different festivals, the film won a number of soundtrack awards, including:

• Award of Recognition - Original Score - Accolade (LA) Film Festival.
• Best Soundtrack - Tagore International Film Festival.
• Best Soundtrack - Havelock Film Festival.
• Best Soundtrack - Kuwait Independent Film Festival.

The soundtrack was released on CD and on streaming platforms including Spotify, where Clifford's 'Opening Titles' track has received 14,873 plays (at time of writing, October 2024), the highest number of plays of the whole soundtrack.
